Chasing goal is not a easy process.  It takes patience, courage, and determination.  Being a slacker is easy, and time passes fast.  Chasing the goal is hard, but time passes even faster.

Firefox has been wacky lately.  No matter with Add-ons or  not.  No matter with what platforms.  I’ve experience crashes on Linux more frequently from 2.0.0.4 to the current 2.0.0.6 version, and Windows users experience slow load time and crashes, while Mac users experience long delay on page loading.  Is this where Firefox start to go downhill?  Which browser can take on the throne?  Camino is decent, but only for Mac; Opera seems very sleek, but some web apps is not written for it; IE (just kidding…)?; Safari? (nah…)…

Biking day

biking with wife to her friend Shirley’s home and went around some parks and even unplanned “Open house” house shopping…  The day was rainy most of the day, and it was chilly on our way back, but I think we had a good time, both enjoyed our bikes.  We just bought hers two weeks ago for the same price as mine: $50 and it’s a nice 21 speed bike made in Taiwan!  I really appreciate the creation of Flea Market, _sometimes_.

Day’s too tough to learn…?

Got a tough day at work… super busy!  I really need to get time down to learn more stuff, rather than doing all the basic repetitions.  Linux administration, scripting, python programming, php, mysql, java script, xhtml, …etc….  I just can’t quite calm down…

Feeling like I need a new home

argh… this WordPress page feels a bit old… I feel like changing a platform to somewhere else. :-p (nothing against the wonderful folks at WordPress~)

but there are so many new technologies now, facebook, twitter, pownce…etc… feel lazy just to explore around those. Eh.. Maybe I will just stay here.

Apple Training in San Francisco

Today I took a paid time off for Apple OSX 10.4 Training up in the city.  The training is done by a consulting company up on the 11th Floor of a office building on Sansome St.

Goosh, everything seems so beautiful in the city.

Not much has changed since the last time I was walking around the Financial District at the office hours.  It has been almost ten years since then!  Time is such a funny thing.  I felt a bit delighted, a bit excited, a bit happy, and a bit old.  Realizing the changes happened around me, I am still very confused that the person in the mirror still looks very little different than the one 10 years ago.

I’ve heard of Beryl before, but didn’t know how cool it is until I see this video… that is sooooo pretty and even cooler than OSX.
